About the Journal

The Environment-Behaviour Proceedings Journal (E-BPJ) is the flagship journal of the Malaysian Association of Environment-Behaviour Researchers (AMER). It publishes selected, original, double-blind, peer-reviewed international conference proceedings on Environment-Behaviour (Environmental Psychology), General Psychology, and Quality of Life issues currently affecting Asian/African/Arabian communities living in both their home countries and other countries. The selected proceeding papers published were presented at multiple serial annual international conferences held worldwide since 2010, mainly organised by AMER and, where appropriate, jointly organised with the institutions of the international conference organising committee.

The E-BPJ’s main goal is to disseminate original Environment-Behaviour (Environmental Psychology) research works internationally, particularly by researchers in Asia, Africa, and Arabia, though contributors from other countries are also most welcome.

The proceeding papers published in this journal have been indexed in Clarivate Analytics’s Web of Science since its inception in 2016 till 2025.

It's important to note that the views expressed in the proceeding papers, do not necessarily reflect the official stance of AMER. This policy encourages open discussion and diverse opinions in relation to the Environment-Behaviour (Environmental Psychology) studies.

The E-BPJ is published by e-IPH Ltd UK.

CrossMark Policy

CrossMark is a multi-publisher initiative from Crossref to provide a standard way for readers to locate the current version of a piece of content. By applying the CrossMark logo, the E-BPJ is committing to maintaining the content it publishes and to alerting readers to changes if and when they occur. Clicking on the CrossMark logo on each of the proceeding paper will tell you the current status of a document and may also give you additional publication record information about the document.

Doi (Digital Object Identifier)

A DOI is a digital identifier of an object, any object — physical, digital, or abstract. DOIs solve a common problem: keeping track of things. Things can be matter, material, content, or activities. A DOI is a unique number made up of a prefix and a suffix separated by a forward slash. This is an example of one: 10.1000/182. It is resolvable using our proxy server by displaying it as a link: https://doi.org/10.1000/182. Designed to be used by humans as well as machines, DOIs identify objects persistently. They allow things to be uniquely identified and accessed reliably. You know what you have, where it is, and others can track it too.
Each proceeding paper published in the E-BPJ is assigned a DOI.

Journal History

Proceedings of previous international conferences organised by the Association of Malaysian Environment-Behaviour Researchers (AMER) since 2010 were published and accessible online in a formal 5-year contract with Elsevier's Procedia Social and Behavioural Sciences (ISSN: 1887-0428) , www.ScienceDirect.com. Those proceedings have all been indexed in Thomson Reuter's Web of Science (WoS).
The inevitable but timely birth of the Environment-Behaviour Proceedings Journal in 2016 was mainly to sustain the publication of the proceedings of forthcoming annual, serial international conferences to be organised jointly by AMER and institutions of the international conference organising committee.
