Abstract

Effective financial management is one of the key factors that contribute to the success of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). However, inadequate financial management skills can render enterprises ineffective. Therefore, the aim of this study is to identify the factors that contribute to inefficient financial management among women entrepreneurs in Amanah Ikhtiar Malaysia. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, and theme analysis was employed to assess the information gathered. The study's findings suggest that this research could help cultivate a new generation of competitive, financially savvy entrepreneurs who are ready to tackle challenges.
