Abstract

This study examines the effects of work-life balance and work-life harmony on job satisfaction among millennial employees in Yogyakarta, using job demand resources as a mediating factor. A quantitative approach was taken, surveying 96 respondents through Google Forms and analyzing data with SmartPLS. Findings indicate that work-life balance does not significantly influence job satisfaction, while work-life harmony has a positive effect. Job demand resources negatively impact job satisfaction and mediate the relationship between work-life balance and job satisfaction. Additionally, work-life balance is linked to increased burnout among these employees.
