Integration of Islamic Personality in Radiation Protection Practice among Muslim Radiographers

Abstract

This paper discusses the integration of Islamic personality elements in radiation protection practices. Although many guidelines have been introduced, however, non-compliance cases still occur. Personalizing Islamic Personality could give a solution to that particular issue. Furthermore, Islamic personality from Al-Ghazali's view in radiation protection practice may help in guiding Muslim radiographers to perform their professional and religious duty. Previous researchers have developed many Islamic personality tests. However, there is no developed Islamic personality test in medical imaging field. Therefore, there is a need to develop a specific Islamic Personality inventory to cater to the issue of radiation protection specifically.
