Abstract

As digital technology advances, digital platforms now play a big role in daily life. How people communicate, learn, and interact socially are all being affected by digital platforms. These platforms offer convenience and connect people worldwide, but overuse can harm cognitive skills and mental health. This study investigates the impact of digital platforms on human cognition and mental health through a survey of 392 young adults. The findings were analyzed using descriptive statistics and supported by relevant literature. The results reveal both benefits and drawbacks, highlighting the need for balanced digital habits to support cognitive and mental health.
