Recitation Gatekeeping for Quality Qur’anic Learning Environments
Keywords:
Quranic Recitation, recitation gatekeeping, information verification, quality learning environmentAbstract
Qur’anic recitation preparation integrates official documents, teacher judgement, trainer feedback, recordings, digital platforms, and AI-supported correction within an assessment-governed learning environment. In musabaqah contexts, these sources shape pupil practice before performance and affect tajwid accuracy, tarannum control, fasahah clarity, voice readiness, and mark loss. This conceptual paper develops the Recitation Gatekeeping Model to explain the verification route through which recitation information gains authority as pupil guidance. Literature mapping and official document analysis position teachers and trainers as verification actors who assess official alignment, source credibility, technical accuracy, pupil suitability, and preparation value.
