Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) is increasingly recognised as a strategic pathway to enhance youth employability and quality of life. This study examines Malaysian youths' perceptions of TVET and its potential contribution to youth development. A cross-sectional online survey involving 1,011 youths aged 15–30 years measured perceptions of TVET, social influence, and career prospects. Findings indicate high awareness (83.5%) and interest (76.6%) in TVET, with overall positive perceptions (M = 3.64). However, perceptions of career and financial prospects remained comparatively lower (M = 3.33). Stronger industry ties and public trust will elevate TVET as a credible pathway.
