Abstract

MyARTS, an interactive grammar mobile game is exclusively designed according to the Theory of Variation (ToV). The game provides a variety of exercises to expose learners to different aspects of learning. The study is to examine the elements that support the design of the questions in the digital game.  A qualitative content analysis was used in illuminating the elements from the theory that support the game and quantitative pre-and post-tests to see the impact of the game on learners. The features in the ToV guiding the game's tasks help learners to discern and remember the usage of articles.
