Abstract

This study offers insights into an individual’s circadian preference and the temporal eating behaviour that comprises six selected chrononutrition behaviours. This study aimed to explore the chronotype and chrononutrition behaviours of adults with coronary artery disease. The findings suggest that adults with CAD had a nearly balanced chronotype distribution with a slight predominance of morning chronotypes, and diverse chrononutrition behaviours, with a predominance of poor behaviours. The findings highlight that chronotype and chrononutrition behaviours could be important factors to consider in planning secondary management strategies for CAD.
