Abstract

The coronavirus (COVID-19) has significantly affected various sectors, including hospitals, manufacturing facilities, and educational institutions, causing many hospitalisations and global quarantines. Despite these situations, industries in Malaysia are still lacking in preparedness to face COVID-19. Hence, this study aims to investigate perceptions towards OSH compliance. Focus group discussions were conducted to provide perceptions and opinions on the topic in selected themes. The themes identified are preparedness plans for infectious diseases, implementation and compliance with the SOP at the workplace, barriers and facilitators to the OSH SOPs, and improper recordings.
