CSSR2021 which was virtually presented provided a forum for the presentation and deliberation of research findings, as well as networking towards greater research impact, in line with the 2021 theme PIONEERING BREAKTHROUGH RESEARCH FOR SOCIETAL WELL-BEING. It was organised by the Research Nexus, Universiti Teknologi MARA, Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia. This special issue published 18  selected papers presented at the conference.
