Abstract

This project investigates the use of traditional batik motifs into parametric design to produce culturally enhanced artworks. The analysis of the aesthetic principles of batik, a methodology is devised to convert these visual patterns into parametric methods. The research illustrates the manner in which conventional patterns can be reinterpreted using computational methods, integrating cultural legacy with contemporary design. This methodology presents novel creative opportunities while safeguarding the established heritage of batik, therefore ensuring its continued significance in the digital age. The integration of traditional and technological elements amplifies artistic manifestation and bolsters the long-lasting integrity of batik as a cultural emblem.
