Information
Anyone, including readers, reviewers and authors, can report possible plagiarism, data falsification, duplicate publication, undisclosed conflicts of interest or other misconduct by emailing editor-in-chief@amerabra.org. Reports are investigated confidentially following COPE guidance, and the identity of the person reporting is protected.
Authors may appeal a rejection within 4 weeks of receiving the decision by emailing editor-in-chief@amerabra.org with the manuscript title and the reasons for the appeal. An appeal should explain why the decision was mistaken, for example because of a factual error in the reviews or a conflict of interest that was not known at the time.
Appeals are considered by an editor who was not involved in the original decision, who may seek an additional review. The outcome is normally given within 4 weeks and is final. One appeal per manuscript is considered.
Complaints about how the journal has handled a manuscript can be sent to editor-in-chief@amerabra.org. Complaints about the Editor-in-Chief should be sent to the publisher at admin@e-iph.co.uk, who will pass them to the Associate Editors.
