Abstract

Malaysia is one of the world's most diversified countries, with a vibrant picture landscape. Malaysia's rich cultural heritage and rapid digital technology have allowed photographers to create innovative works that appeal locally and globally. This comparative and qualitative study investigates how digital tools and social media have transformed Malaysian photography. The study finds a variety of visual expression that blends culture and technology. This detailed visual investigation examines traditional effects and current technical consequences. This detailed visual investigation demonstrates how Malaysian modern photography preserves cultural heritage while embracing technological developments and adapting to global photographic evolution.
