E-BPJ Vol. 12 No. 39 — AcE-Bs2027Bandung

The forthcoming AcE-Bs2027Bandung (15th Asian Conference on Environment-Behaviour Studies), to be held in Bandung, Indonesia, on 1–2 January 2027, marks the opening of the 2027 AcE-Bs programme and is associated with Environment-Behaviour Proceedings Journal (E-BPJ), Vol. 12, No. 39, scheduled for publication in January 2027.

Editorial Architecture & Asian Regional Focus

This issue maintains an explicitly Asian regional orientation, examining Environment-Behaviour Studies (EBS) across diverse Asian social, cultural, spatial, technological, institutional, health and ecological contexts. The issue is structured around six principal thematic themes:

1. Smart Technology & Digital Behavioural Environments
2. Socio-Economic, Management & Public Policy Environments
3. Built Environment, Spatial Design & Spatial Infrastructure
4. Social, Cultural & Community Interaction Environments
5. Human Development, Spatial Education & Physical Wellbeing
6. Sustainability, Energy & Natural Cognitive Environments

These themes establish the principal editorial scope of the volume, while the final published contents remain dependent on manuscripts submitted and subsequently accepted through the applicable editorial and peer-review processes.

OJS Editorial Workflow Transition
Vol. 12 No. 39 introduces the first migration of the peer-review workflow from institutional email correspondence to Open Journal Systems (OJS) within the E-BPJ publication sequence. The transition concerns manuscript-management and documentation infrastructure, including submission, reviewer communication, editorial decisions and revisions; the established peer-review process remains in place. The OJS workflow is intended to strengthen documentation, traceability and auditability of the editorial process.

emAs Digital Evolution Grant Program (EDEGP)
To mark the 2027 event, AMER Event & Management Services (emAs) introduces the emAs Digital Evolution Grant Program (EDEGP), an institutional financial-support initiative providing a 50% discount on applicable Registration Fees and Publication Fees, subject to the programme's applicable terms and conditions. Participation in EDEGP or payment of discounted fees does not guarantee manuscript acceptance or publication.

Vol. 12 No. 39 therefore establishes an Asia-focused 2027 EBS publication framework, while introducing OJS-based editorial workflow management with peer review retained.
