Abstract

The film casting process involves character analysis based on character dimensions, encompassing physiological, sociological, and psychological aspects, to match actors to character requirements from the screenplay. This research explores artificial intelligence (AI) utilisation to convert character text descriptions into visualisations based on the dimensions contained in the screenplay. These visual representations help align aesthetic and cultural preferences between screenwriters and casting directors. The visual results are then analysed to determine the most suitable actor for the character. Despite its limitations, artificial intelligence can offer an accurate and efficient alternative in character visualisation, thus supporting a more targeted casting process.
