The APAF Inaugural Symposium 2025 invited educators, students, and arts professionals from across the Asia Pacific to engage in critical dialogue on the evolving intersections of art education, practice, and professional ecosystems. Organized into two core panel streams—*Pedagogy in Practice and Entangled Art Ecosystems*—the symposium explored themes such as sustainable material innovation, curriculum development, curatorial practice, conservation, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

This event was a collaborative initiative by ISI Yogyakarta, Australian Indonesian Art Forum, Project 11 Melbourne, and 16 Albermarle Project Space Sydney.

Overall, 30 selected papers are published in this issue.
