Bamboo Jewellery: Integrating Indigenous Knowledge and Sustainability Practices

Bamboo jewellery has potential as a product that blends local wisdom with sustainable concepts. Its sustainable production method and reusable base material make it an eco-friendly solution. This research explores the economic and social benefits of incorporating sustainability principles into traditional crafts, and how bamboo jewellery can apply local wisdom and traditional values to reduce environmental impact. A qualitative approach was used, including literature review, fieldwork, and experimental prototyping. The research highlights the harmony between environmental conservation, cultural heritage preservation, and innovative fashion products in the creation of bamboo jewellery.
